OK, Windows is back up and running, and I'm now looking at a subscription - given that you need to pay for the client, as well, I'm thinking the 6-month option is probably the best deal (since the £17.99 client is included in the price).

However, just to check, should the subscription cost be in £'s? Was expecting, with aiming to play on the US servers, that it'd be priced in $'s, or am I missing something? Thought I'd check, before I subscribe...

i think marks was dollars and was converted to sterling when it hit his account he did a year sub inc free ckient and it was £65 ish

Still not got around to this, but do have another question...

If I've downloaded the massive 12.6GB client for the trial (which seemed to have all the "content" tick-boxes checked), do I still need to buy the client as well as setting up a subscription? Or do I just need a subscription, and can use what I've downloaded to play the full game?

You just need to upgrade your acc and it will download the full game (If you only got the trial client)
